TNDC is making a difference for thousands of low-income people, while improving the Tenderloin neighborhood for all San Franciscans. Below are ways to get involved. Ways to Get Involved!

  1. Invest in TNDC's affordable housing and support services online. Click here to make a secure online donation now.

  2. Join TNDC Partners. And help build homes and hope in the Tenderloin by donating cumulative gifts to TNDC of $500 or more this year.

  3. Join TNDC Friends and make monthly contributions via credit card or direct bank payments. For as much as $20 a month, you can help TNDC sustain very low rents and supportive services for low income families and individuals in the Tenderloin.

  4. Attend our fun, unique annual events:
    • TNDC Anniversary Celebration, a spring birthday dinner event at the Hilton.
    • TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss, a wild-and-wet pool party in October where we auction the right to dunk celebrities to benefit services for kids and families.

  5. Give through the United Way; TNDC's ID number is 2438.

  6. Corporate matching gifts can often double or triple your gift. Ask at your office!

  7. TNDC accepts donations of stock and other securities, which can provide you with tax advantages.

  8. Make a memorial or tribute gift in honor of someone. And send your gift, along with the name of your friend or loved one, to 201 Eddy Street, San Francisco CA 94102.

  9. Ensure that affordable housing is available for San Franciscans for years to come and plan a gift through a bequest or another planned gift like a charitable trust or insurance annuity. Contact Julie Doherty at (415)358-3965 or jdoherty@tndc.org for a free planned giving brochure.

  10. Donate your leftover BART tickets and have the cash value go to TNDC through the Tiny Tickets Program sponsored by the East Bay Community Foundation and BART.

  11. Invite friends to take a tour or contribute to TNDC. You can also recommend others whom we should contact.

  12. Clean your closets! Community Thrift Store at 623-625 Valencia St. in San Francisco accepts a wide variety of goods and allows you to earmark proceeds from their sale to TNDC (#171). Call them at (415) 861-4910.
