On December 25, 2011 volunteers and TNDC staff distributed 600 hot lunches to homeless and low-income people in the Tenderloin. The Christmas day lunch was made possible by a generous donor who supplied the food truck style lunches. The event titled "Tender Feast" was such a success that it may become an annual event.
