TNDC Celebrates Grand Re-Opening of Civic Center Residence
Historic 220 Golden Gate to be Named Kelly Cullen Community
On Thursday, July 14, Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation celebrated the re-opening of 212 units of supportive, affordable housing at Civic Center Residence (CCR) located at 44 McAllister Street in San Francisco. A brief ceremony was held to thank those involved in this $30 million renovation project. The ceremony marks the public grand reopening of CCR. MORE
Built in 1908, the former Central YMCA is a historic nine-story building located on the corner of Golden Gate and Leavenworth Avenues in the Tenderloin neighborhood. Construction is underway and includes substantial rehabilitation and historic preservation, of a historic auditorium, lobby, atrium, mezzanine and grand entry staircase. MORE
