How To Apply

Are you in need of housing?

Are you making an annual household income that’s below 40% of the Area Median Income in San Francisco? Or a yearly income between $15,000-$30,000 per year? If so, then you may qualify for TNDC’s supportive and affordable housing.

To get into a TNDC housing unit, there are several simple steps:

1.  To find out about vacancies and open waiting lists, check our Rental Opportunities page frequently.  You can also stop by our office at 215 Taylor Street or call TNDC’s Housing Hotline at (415) 358-3938.

2.  All housing opportunities are posted in the property management office located at 215 Taylor Street. Our occupancy hotline is updated every 2 weeks with current listings of available units. Keep an eye out for these announcements!

3.  These notices will announce the date(s) and location for when applicants like you can enter into a lottery for space on the waiting list.

4.  If you are selected from a waiting list for housing, you will be contacted with the news by letter or phone. But if you don’t have a mailing address or phone number, please check-in periodically with our Occupancy Manager to determine your housing status.

TNDC promotes equal affordable housing opportunities to all people regardless of race or ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, religion, marital status, age, disability, HIV/AIDS status or place of current residence. Please note that anyone applying for housing is required to provide a variety of documentation, including picture identification, social security number, or proof of employment. And that only eligible applicants will be placed.

For further information or if you have questions, contact us at (415) 776-2151. You can also e-mail them to info@tndc.org.
