Transbay Block 8 and Transbay Block 8 Tower
TNDC is joint venturing with Related California on this ambitious project in the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure’s designated Transbay Redevelopment Project Area in San Francisco. Transbay 8 is composed of a 56 story tower and two mid-rise podium buildings. The tower includes 70 affordable rentals and 280 market rate rentals in levels 1 through 31. Market rate condominiums occupy levels 32 through 55. Two mid-rise podium buildings on adjacent parcels contain 80 rental units that are 100% affordable. Shared resident amenity spaces are distributed throughout the development, including a fitness center, roof garden, lounge terrace, and resident community garden. TNDC is the Managing General Partner of the 70 affordable rentals within the tower and the 80 affordable units within the mid-rise podium buildings.
