Everyone Deserves Health & Well-Being

We believe that everyone deserves to thrive. Whether that means being able to raise a family, feel healthier, grow a career, fight for justice, or live in a stable home. Right now, the systems we all rely on are designed to create enormous barriers for people based on their income, race, spoken language, gender identity, and more, from accessing resources.

Our work across Homes, Health, and Voice aims to change that. By helping tenants stay stably housed with the support of social work and sustainability efforts, providing resources the Tenderloin community asks for like housing, an after-school program and nutritious foods, and providing Health & Wellness programming inside and outside our buildings, we're supporting individual and community health in the Tenderloin and beyond.

What We're Reading

Much of our Food & Wellness work centers around the idea of food as medicine. We are working on innovative ways to encourage our neighbors to learn about healthy food and take their health journey into their own hands

Volunteer in the TNDC Tenderloin People's Garden

Every week there are opportunities to volunteer in our community garden on the corner of Larkin and McAllister Street! Help us grow and harvest fresh produce that goes back to the community at no cost.
