Homes

Everyone Deserves the Stability of a Home

We believe that everyone deserves to thrive. Whether that means being able to raise a family, feel healthier, grow a career, fight for justice, or live in a stable home. Right now, the systems we all rely on are designed to create enormous barriers for people based on their income, race, spoken language, gender identity, and more, from finding housing and remaining housed.

Our work across Homes, Health, and Voice aims to change that. By building more homes, protecting existing housing from becoming market rate, and helping tenants stay stably housed with the support of social work, Health & Wellness programming, sustainability efforts, and advocacy, more people can dream of what tomorrow brings instead of worrying about where they are going to sleep tonight.

Our Homes

Over 6,300 people live in our homes—families raising the next generation, seniors building their strength with Tai Chi, adults growing their career, and community members fighting for justice. People who want to live and thrive, but face enormous systemic obstacles to their basic human needs due to their income, race, spoken language, gender identity, and more.

What We're Reading

Much of our Food & Wellness work centers around the idea of food as medicine. We are working on innovative ways to encourage our neighbors to learn about healthy food and take their health journey into their own hands
