555 Larkin

We envision a future where everyone can thrive, regardless of income, race, spoken language, gender identity, and more. 555 Larkin is a key step in TNDC building this future by providing 108 affordable homes for people with low incomes in San Francisco (30-80% AMI), including households relocating from SF Housing Authority homes through the Hope SF program.

Located in the heart of the Tenderloin community, 555 Larkin is a family-friendly building centered on tenant needs. With onsite social workers, 24/7 front desk coverage, and Property Management, tenants have a built-in support network to help them adjust to their new home, feel welcome, and remain stably housed.

In addition to onsite support, 555 Larkin offers a 1,300 square-foot rooftop urban farm, courtyard, indoor bicycle parking, and a ground-floor space providing technology and wellness programming for seniors by the Curry Senior Center. 555 Larkin will seek GreenPoint Platinum rating and the building design pays homage to the Kahn & Keville retro marquee that used to stand in the same location.

Construction started in early 2020 and residents began moving in December 2022. The project is no longer accepting applicants for units.
