Building homes for 260 people in San Francisco by 2022
We envision a future where everyone can thrive, regardless of income, race, spoken language, gender identity, and more. 555 Larkin is a key step in helping us build this future by providing 108 deeply affordable homes for people in San Francisco.
Located in the heart of the Tenderloin community, 555 Larkin will be a family-friendly building centering tenant needs. With onsite social workers, 24/7 front desk coverage, and Property Management, tenants will have a built-in support network to help them adjust to their new home, feel welcome, and remain stably housed.
In addition to onsite support, 555 Larkin will offer a 1,300 square-foot rooftop urban farm, courtyard, indoor bicycle parking, and a ground-floor space that serves the wider Tenderloin community. Notably, 555 Larkin will seek GreenPoint Gold certification and include a unique homage to the Kahn & Keville retro marquee that used to stand in the same location.
Construction started in early 2020 and people are scheduled to move in by early 2022.
