A Note From Don
25 years ago the Tenderloin After-School Program was simply wishful thinking. Guardians and parents living in TNDC’s Franciscan Towers needed a safe place for their kids to go after school, during school breaks, and over the summer.
Because of TNDC’s supporters and donors, a safe place for children in the Tenderloin became a reality.
TASP found a space on the ground floor of the Franciscan Towers and opened its doors to families six days a week. Ten years later, the program expanded to the laundromat next door and doubled in size.
Today, TASP helps 240 children improve their grades, gain life skills, and visit universities for their first time through the College Tour program.
Your support changes the course of a child’s entire life. Their families and I thank you.
