Building homes for 70 people in San Francisco by 2024
We envision a future where everyone can thrive, regardless of income, race, spoken language, gender identity, and more. 180 Jones is a key step in helping us build this future by providing 70 deeply affordable homes for people in San Francisco, including people who were formerly unhoused.
Located in the heart of the Tenderloin community, 180 Jones will be a mixed-use building centering tenant needs. With onsite social workers, 24/7 front desk coverage, and Property Management, tenants will have a built-in support network to help them adjust to their new home, feel welcome, and remain stably housed.
In addition to onsite support, 180 Jones will offer a second-story landscaped courtyard for open space and 1:1 bicycle parking. Notably, 180 Jones will seek a LEED Platinum Certification—the highest LEED certification for sustainable construction—and include design features that honor the neighborhood’s history.
Construction is scheduled to start in early 2022 and people to move in by early 2023.
