Candlestick Block 10a (on hold)
Candlestick Block 10a is an approximately 57,064 square foot site that is a part of FivePoint’s San Francisco Shipyard/Candlestick master development project. It is one of two parcels located in the newly developed Candlestick Point North neighborhood within the Bayview Hunters Point Redevelopment Project Area designated for affordable housing and related supportive services by the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure (OCII). The future mixed-use development seeks to achieve a high Green Point Rating certification score and will feature numerous green spaces for social and environmental sustainability while encouraging residents to gather in shared indoor and outdoor spaces. There will be a community kitchen, community room, teen room, services offices, childcare facility, pocket gardens, an urban farm, outdoor podium, workforce development programming, and more within the space, in addition to a contemporary rooftop solar array. Along Ingerson Avenue there will be ground floor commercial space and a greenway running along Earl Street to connect the development to the future Candlestick Community Park one block away.
